Stroller Make-Over

Claire sat in her baby stroller the other day and it ripped right off the frame. For some strange reason I thought I would attempt to sew a new cover for it... I don't sow. The good news is: from a distance it looks pretty good and it holds Claire's babies, so mission accomplished.

My nephew got baptized awhile ago and was given a candy and money lei. So when my mom told me she needed a gift for a baptism- I came up with my own version.

It wasn't to hard to to, but it would have been easier with a second person.

Lego Table

For Christmas Ryan got a Lego table to help organize his Lego addiction.  And may I just say that it is pretty fantastic.  

We have had a few people request a table of their own.  So if you are interested, let me know and I will contact you when we get a price put together.

Pumpkin Topiary

Mom and Dad came to visit for Dad's birthday and my Mom helped me create this pumpkin topiary.  She could do this stuff with her eyes closed!  

(and as a bonus... a little preview of Claire's Halloween costume- pretty cute, isn't she?)

Utah is a little emptier with out you!

My Sister, husband Zach and cutest baby Connor spent the month of September here in Utah.  

We had the best time!  Just a sampling of the things we did together:

Magical Thinking

"Children say the funniest things, yet all too often, I seem to forget them after a day or two.  I'll start telling my husband.. "Ryan said the funniest thing..." and then I can't quite remember. Or I get it a little mixed up and it's not nearly as funny as I remember.

So I started writing down the funnier moments of the day. I keep a jar on my desk, and when the kids say something particularly worthy of recording, I grab a scrap of paper (phone bill, envelope, chopstick holder.. whatever is lying around) and I quickly jot it down."
